Casa de Carmona, much more than a house

When a visitor arrives at the Casa de Carmona (The Carmona House), everything is calmly put at their disposal, with all the time in the world. Time stops within its walls, to open wide the doors to tranquillity; the silence of solitude; quietness; an intimate and calm space from which the appreciation of kindness, beauty and the colour of light arises.

Casa de Carmona is a deluxe hotel of 34 rooms; a magnificent 16th century renovated palace, located in the historical centre of Carmona, an elegant town of great cultural and artistic wealth. A Spanish pioneer of "Hotels with Charm", Casa de Carmona has spent more than ten years dedicated almost exclusively to the pleasure of its clients, so that their stay is a continuous delight.

To turn this commitment into reality, it ensures that one receives those things that are most lacking in daily life: to encounter good impressions and extraordinary moments, to find kindness and good humour, to enjoy clarity, neatness, excellent decoration...

Original engravings
Since their opening in 1991, Casa de Carmona has been recognized for its decoration with numerous antiques and for their collection of original engravings from the 17th and 19th centuries. These are distributed throughout the bedrooms and living rooms, each one decorated differently with elegant material and excellent furniture, predominantly in the English Victorian style.

The hotel has three types of rooms, starting with eleven standard doubles, the smallest rooms available, but very attractive and equipped with everything that one could expect from a deluxe hotel. Then there are fourteen special doubles, larger and especially welcoming. Seven junior suites follow-the best rooms in the house; to finish, the blue suite, one of the best suites in Spain. The rest of the hotel consists of the Blue Living room, the Lodge, the Chess Room, the Billiard room, the Library and the Main Patio.

Good food
It is not luxury if it lacks a good table. Excellent cuisine provides great satisfaction, it surprises you, it agrees with you, you enjoy it, and it restores body, mind, and soul.

At Casa de Carmona, Head Chef, Fernando Peña and his team, has built up the cuisine since 1997. The menu dishes are fresh and successful, without being excessively sophisticated. Some of them have become classics, such as the "melon Soup with green pepper" or the "Casa de Carmona Rice with Partridge." The selection of wines, not too extensive, is well selected, with wines that one will never forget.
